Anyone wanting to switch to Weber? DCD intake with a buy it now price of $36. Any opinions from the experienced among you?

I too have heard stories about the ease of operating a weber. I've never done it, but have heard that once it's set, you can pretty much forget about it. Perhaps a welded in bung in the exhaust would be good during your build so you can fine tune it at Fairlady? HMM... more power....

Looking beyond the fact that I'm an SU bigot...

The power you gain with a Weber is directly proportional to the amount of time you spend above 6000 rpm. And usually this is only with a DCOE.

A properly sized SU will give you more power in the 2000 to 4000 rpm range and more convenient tuning.

Hey. Wasn't a 2bbl Weber DCD what they put on those Minis in that "reality" show a couple of years ago? 2 teams had to "improve" their Minis & compete head to head at an oval track.

As I recall, they said on the show that they gained about 100 HP!

It has to be true because I saw it on TV!
