August 2008 Meeting

Location: Tim Boyd's.

Combined Saturday afternoon BBQ, meeting, and Mini Photo day. Tim has lots of room to park cars on the grass so we can take photos.
BBQs two months in a row! Now if we could work in donuts and pizza, we'd have three of the recommended SAMOA food groups at one event.

Same schedule at the July meeting. Show up around 11:00 to spend some time looking at cars and taking photos. 11:30-ish for the meeting. Food after the meeting -- around 12:30.

Yes the next meeting is at our house August 23, Saturday. 11:00 am for an 11:30 meeting and then food. Bring folding chairs or blankets to sit on and a dish to share. If you would start an RSVP on this page we'll know how much food and drinks to get.

Hmmm. Let me get this straight. We're to depend on the accuracy of a Smith's speedo to navigate to the turning points enroute to the meeting. Methinks you will be getting a lot phone calls from lost members. :)

Dorothea will be joining us for a rare appearance at an "away" meeting. I think she just wants to show off her number two grandson, Elias.

3:45 and everyone has gone home and the dishes are clean. Thanks to all that made the trip (Jerry all the way from Tacoma, Dave from Gig Harbor, and James from Graham and Elias from Switzerland) and brought food to share. See everyone at the next meeting.
