Replacing a cam

Hey all,
Did a quick search and didn't see anything on this...can a cam be exchanged without pulling the engine, or is access to pulleys not possible?

Thinking about a swiftune with their duplex chain, etc.

Pull the engine! Cams are not a quick change item. Although it would be cool if you could.

On small bore engines and Cooper S engines it is possible to change the cam with the engine in the car with a lot of work and a little body surgery. Certainly not worth the effort. As James suggests, pull the engine.
